A part of the Books Have Colourful Stories To Tell series – a series of books made of trace paper with lasercut acrylic covers.
The books were each inspired by a corresponding hardcover book from a second-hand bookshop, adopting the colour of its cover to define its interior. Each book has history, inscriptions, and a life before coming into my possession. The series attempts to reinterpret these stories, their meanings and relevances and generate new narratives through typography, image, and colour.
