This is the national museum of the Netherlands.

With 80 galleries, 8,000 artworks and objects in its collections, and 800 years of history and culture, the Rijksmuseum stands as one of the most important cultural institutions in the world.

This visual identity system sees the branding of the institution as a celebration of its collections, its rich cultural history and its position within the Dutch artistic community. The system aims to recontextualise Dutch art in the happenings of the present day. It attempts to promote and celebrate the Rijksmuseum’s collections, using the logo as a framing device for the artworks.
